ACPHS Graduate Application

Fall 2024 Application
April 15, 2024: Application deadline for Fall 2024 semester.

Eligible applicants receive consideration for a tuition-based scholarship as part of the admissions review process.

Application requirements are listed below. All completed applications are forwarded to the program faculty for review and to determine interview eligibility.

 

Application Requirements

  • B.S. or B.A. degree from an accredited institution with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The degree must be conferred prior to enrollment at ACPHS.
  • Completion of appropriate prerequisite courses:
    • M.S. Clinical Laboratory Sciences
      • General Biology I & II (lecture + lab)
      • General Chemistry I & II (lecture + lab)
      • Anatomy & Physiology I & II (lecture + lab) OR Anatomy & Physiology (lecture + lab) + Pathophysiology (lecture + lab))
      • Organic Chemistry (lecture + lab)
      • Biochemistry (lecture)

 

  • M.S. Cytotechnology and Molecular Cytology
    • General Biology I & II (lecture + lab)
    • General Chemistry I & II (lecture + lab)
    • Anatomy & Physiology I & II (lecture + lab)
    • Organic Chemistry (lecture + lab)
    • Cell Biology (lecture + lab)
  • Completed and officially submitted application containing: 
    • Names and contact information of two faculty or professional references 
    • Personal essay describing your interest in the specific master's degree program at ACPHS 
    • Current resume or curriculum vitae (CV)
       
  • All transcripts must be submitted directly to AHCAS and should list "AHCAS" as the recipient. Please indicate your AHCAS ID# on your transcript request. Instructions for sending your transcript/s can be found here
     
  • Official GRE (general test) scores are ONLY required of applicants with an undergraduate GPA below 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale). The exam must have been completed within the past five years and results should be sent directly to ACPHS (Code 2013) by ETS.
  • An official WES or ECE course-by-course evaluation for coursework completed outside of the United States is required and can be submitted electronically to ACPHS. 
     
  • Official Duolingo (minimum score of 110), TOEFL (minimum score of 84), or IELTS (minimum score of 7) scores are required as demonstration of English language proficiency. This requirement may be waived for applicants who have been studying in the United States for at least two years prior to the time of application.
